SaskTel is the leading Information and Communications Technology provider in Saskatchewan, with almost $1.4 billion in annual revenue and over 1.3 million customer connections. When they approached us to reimagine mySASKTEL, their consumer portal, the stakes were high: the existing experience was falling short both visually and structurally, and a growing list of business requirements, new functionality, alignment with a brand-new consumer design system, and a clean split between the consumer and business portals — meant this wasn't a redesign so much as a rebuild of the entire consumer experience across web.
Over several months embedded full-time with SaskTel's internal team, we ran a research-driven design process with multiple rounds of user interviews and usability testing shaped every decision, from information architecture down to interaction details. The result was an intuitive, accessible, and visually refined system built to scale, one that unified the experience across platforms while giving SaskTel the flexibility to grow the portal independently from its business-facing counterpart.
The redesign landed strongly in beta, earning enthusiastic feedback from users and validating the new direction end to end. It's since become the foundation for an ongoing roadmap of updates heading toward full launch, proof that the new system isn't just a visual refresh, but a durable platform for SaskTel's consumer experience going forward.
